70's Silk Artistic Floral Print Dress with Unique Waist Detail$195.00
This wintry palette, designer Pauline Trigère dress has been modified, giving it a sexier, more modern feel...
Circa late 1960's to 1970's, this all silk dress has a fitted bodice, with Nehru or high style collar, full length fitted sleeves that close with zippers, and button-down front that secures with small blue glass and silver metal buttons. The true closure is at the center back, with a fine nylon zipper and hook + eye. The waistline of this dress is also very unique an interesting, with a triangular sectioned panel that enhances the waist and meets, with a slight crossover, at center front. Lined in a thin deep blue silk fabric. The original length of the skirt has been shortened, with silk lining having been serge finished (we re-did the hack job on the skirt outer layer). The overall condition is excellent to very good, with the only issues being the hem job and some light pulls in the fabric weave at center back, around zipper (please see last pic), plus one small pull at left bust. Only label reads 'Pauline Trigère'.
